The hotel was an excellent place for enjoying a central area, close enough to the center of Kusatsu, the main attraction, and the hill. The staff were amicable and helpful made my stay relaxing. My dormitory room with bunk bed and shower, for example was cheap. The location was particularly good, for example, Shirane Shrine was a 10-15 minute walk from the venue. I really enjoyed the hotel overall.

I totally recommend this place and would return there. The hotel was located very close to the bus station. The location couldn't be more perfect and magnificent on top of a hill. I went to the nearby Izakaya Matsuba and tried their local food.

The owner and his wife were hilarious and incredibly kind, making sure to spend time with the guests. The location was a mere 5-minute walk from Yubatake. The beds were comfy and had convenient sockets. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. The food preparation area was clean. Ayako, one of the staff members, went above and beyond, acting as a personal tour guide purely out of her love for the town. The guest house was conveniently located near the main attraction and the owners were extremely friendly, organizing kotatsu hangouts for everyone. The staff was friendly, helpful, and fluent in English. The women's room had spacious, cozy, and warm bunk beds. The guest house was close to Yubatake and various onsens, providing a peaceful escape from the bustling crowds. SUPER recommended!

The guesthouse had a cozy and friendly atmosphere, making me feel right at home. I loved spending time around the kotatsu with other guests and the owners, enjoying tea, beer, and even a home-cooked dinner. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Yubatake and local bathhouses. The comfortable beds with heated mattress pads ensured a good night's rest. The kitchen was spacious and clean, and with so many nearby onsen, there was no need to use the showering facilities. The owners were welcoming, generous, and laid back, making my stay very relaxing.
Felt like a home away from home, no complaints at all.
